Alex Prast

After graduating from the Aveda Institute in 2015 I began my career as a colorist in Chicago. I was able to advance my skills in color. I love consulting with my clients as they give me the tools and guidelines to what they want and I’m able to then create. I’ve always had a passion for art and science, and hair color has been the perfect marriage of the two. I specialize in blondes, and I enjoy creating soft blended dimensional colors. I’ve been at Anagen11 for six years and while I still love hair coloring I’ve been able to refine my skills in haircutting and styling as well. It’s so satisfying seeing the immediate changes with haircutting whether it be hair coming back to life by just adding a few simple layers, or completely updating someone’s style with a drastic cut. Being a well-rounded stylist means no limits. Since being with the team here at Anagen11 I’m constantly learning. Whether it be from the team, the owners, or the classes and education provided to us, there are no limits to creating beauty.
